Glauco e Scilla Vendetta e Amore, Sulle coste Della Calabria.
Scilla era una ninfa, una nereide figlia di Forco e Crataide, bellissima dagli occhi color Acquamarina, amava trascorrere il giorno in riva al mare giocando con altre ninfe e rifiutando i pretendenti. Un Giorno in cui faceva il bagno sulla spiaggia di Zancle, vide apparire dalle onde Glauco,
Un tempo Glauco era stato un mortale, un Pescatore, ma adesso era un dio marino metà uomo e metà pesce, trasformato da una pozione, dalla maga Circe, innamorata di lui.
Spaventata Scilla fugge veloce, in cima ad un monte presso la spiaggia, qui si ferma e contempla stupita quell’essere, forse un Mostro o un Dio.
Il Dio marino se ne accorge, dice alla ninfa, di non essere un mostro una bestia feroce:
"mia fanciulla sono un dio dell’acqua, Prima ero mortale ma il mio mondo anche prima era il mare" .
Il desiderio del Dio arde come un turbamento, ma Scilla insensibile se ne va, lui si infuria vedendosi respinto si dirige verso la dimora incantata di Circe.
Glauco attraversa l’Etna, la contrada dei Ciclopi, si lascia Zancle alle spalle, le mura di Reggio antistante lo stretto dei naufraghi racchiuso tra le due sponde (Stretto di Messina) da lì nuotando nel mar Tirreno giunse ai colli erbosi e al palazzo di Circe Divina figlia del Dio Sole, la Titanite.
Al Cospetto della Dea, Glauco:
"Oh Dea tu sei l’unica in grado di guarire il mio ardore se ti sembro degno d’ amore. Lungo le coste italiche, dirimpetto alle mura di Messina mi è apparsa Scilla, e voglio che lei bruci della mia stessa passione."
Circe pronunciò al Dio:
"disprezza chi non ti ama e donati a chi si dona" facendo riferimento all’amore che la maga provava per lui. Glauco rifiuta Circe e lei indispettita si mette a tritare erbe malefiche dai succhi spaventosi, mischiandoli a formule infernali.
Indossa un velo azzurro diretta a Reggio…arrivata nei pressi degli scogli di Zancle contagia il mare con il suo filtro, aspettando che Scilla facesse il bagno.
Arriva scilla e si immerge nelle acque Fresche in quell’istante entrambi i fianchi si trasformano in cagne orribili che le ringhiano intorno.
Inconsapevole che quei mostri appartenessero al suo corpo cerca di respingerli e al posto delle sue gambe non vede altro che musi da Cerbero.
Inizia la sua mutazione in un mostro terrificante enorme ed altissimo con sei enormi teste di cane lungo il girovita, un busto enorme e delle gambe serpentine lunghissime.
Secondo alcuni dalla vita in su manteneva il corpo di una vergine
Innamorato Glauco fugge via, piange, ferito e sdegna di unirsi a Circe.
Scilla Sfoga il suo odio contro Circe privando in seguito Ulisse dei suoi compagni di viaggio di ritorno dalla guerra di Troia verso Itaca. In seguito al suo gesto Scilla fu tramutata i in una roccia affiorante dal mare, che per quanto sia soltanto uno scoglio i marinai cercano in tutti i modi di evitare.

Glaucus and Scylla Revenge and Love, On the coasts Of Calabria.
Scylla was a nymph, a Nereid daughter of Forco and Crataide, beautiful with aquamarine eyes, loved to spend the day by the sea playing with other nymphs and rejecting suitors. One day when she was bathing on the beach of Zancle, she saw Glaucus appear from the waves,
Once Glaucus had been a mortal, a fisherman, but now he was a sea god half man and half fish, transformed by a potion, by the sorceress Circe, in love with him.
Scared Scylla flees fast, on top of a mountain near the beach, here she stops and contemplates amazed that being, perhaps a Monster or a God.
The sea god notices, tells the nymph that he is not a monster, but a ferocious beast:
"my maiden I am a water god, Before I was mortal but my world even before was the sea" .
The desire of the god burns like an upheaval, but Scylla insensitive goes away, he is furious seeing himself rejected and heads towards the enchanted home of Circe.

In love Glaucus runs away, weeps, hurt and disdains to join Circe.
Scylla vents his hatred against Circe depriving Ulysses of his traveling companions returning from the Trojan War to Ithaca. Following his gesture Scylla was turned into a rock outcropping from the sea, which although it is only a rock the sailors try in every way to avoid.
